Fitzroy Winter Wedding | Heidi + Peter

As a true Melbourne-ite, I love the dramatic changes of season we experience here. Winter gives us the opportunity to sit around a fire and get cosy on the couch. The excuse to rug up and indulge in a movie or a book. It’s not the time of year that many would consider as the perfect time to have a wedding.

But for Peter and Heidi, it couldn’t have been more perfect.

They chose to have their wedding in the vibrant Fitzroy area, in winter, so Melbourne!

So of course it rained, a little, and certainly not enough to dampen anyone’s spirits.

We took a stroll around the Fitzroy Gardens after the ceremony and took in the stunning city skyline before heading to the reception at the iconic Builder’s Arms hotel, where they completed a beautiful and heartfelt day with family and friends.
