Red Hill Wedding Photography | Kate and Gareth
Kate and Gareth’s wedding in Red Hill, was a beautiful way to end my 2013 year of weddings. I caught up with the girls where they were staying at stunning Red Hill property, Coryule Farm, which is such a beautiful setting for a relaxing and joyful day. From the minute you turn in to the long driveway up to the house, past the curious gazes of the alpacas in the fields, you can feel yourself start to unwind.
In a slight departure from conventional proceedings, Kate and Gareth decided that they would like to have most of their photographs taken prior to the ceremony in order to allow them more time with their family and friends at the reception. You will see from the photos that their ‘first look’ is a special ‘private’ moment, with the bay in the distance and something that they could have a little more control of. I kept a respectful distance from the two of them and used my zoom to get in closer for the shot.
We were soon on to the ceremony and reception venue at T’Gallant Winery which has to be one of my favourites on The Hill.
It was a day that honoured the important people in Kate and Gareth’s lives – Kate’s gorgeous gown was offered to her by her friend and bridesmaid Sascha, as it was specially made for her by Kate’s late mother 8 years ago, and Gareth’s kin were remembered with tartan from the Graham’s of Montrose. His mother Barbara travelled over from Edinburgh for the wedding. And all of the girls played a part in decorating the table settings with items sourced from Etsy, stationary by Olive and Finn and flowers provided by Flowergirls of Mornington.
Your perfect day, Kate and Gareth was so special to be a part of, thankyou so much for having me along, and I know that you will both be so happy together.
Enjoy these few images of the day! xo
Fantastic images, thanks!
