Tanglewood Estate | Mornington Peninsula Wedding Venue
One of the things that I love about living and working on the Peninsula, is that I get to meet some incredibly talented creatives that all share a love of where we live.
In the off-season, there’s a window of opportunity for some of us in the wedding industry to find the time to spread our wings creatively and do something a little different. Joining forces to do that with like-minded people is something I absolutely love.
A few weeks back I spent an afternoon at one of the Mornington Peninsula’s loveliest wedding venues, Tanglewood Estate with Dawn and her team from Peninsula Wildflower.
If you’re looking for an understated wedding venue with beautiful natural surrounds, look no further than this one. Tanglewood is a stunner and Donna and her team are warm and welcoming yet at the same professional with an eye for detail.
While Dawn from Peninsula Wildflower has a talent for turning native flowers into the most incredible wedding bouquets you’ll ever see!
This time she was leading a workshop in wreath making, and I happily tagged along.
The first step in the process was to collect vines. Not a bad option here at Tanglewood.
And then the shaping begins.
A break and a little change of scenery to wander the property and fuel up with some amazing nibbles using local produce and cool boho set-up provided by the girls at The Barefoot Collective and a gin tasting with the Original Spirit Co.
Just perfect!
Then it was back to finish off the wreaths. Here, Dawn and her team were super helpful in providing expert tips and tricks to finish things off.
What a great way to spend a winter’s afternoon!
