Fairfield Park Boathouse Wedding | Kate & Jim

I was so excited to be contacted by Kate about photographing her wedding. After photographing her brother’s wedding 18 months ago, it is such a high compliment and like seeing old friends again, that’s how much I love this family.

Kate and Jim were married at Fairfield Park Boathouse which was a perfect venue for an autumn wedding in Melbourne, not to mention perfectly suited to this gorgeous couple who met at a rowing club.

Kate was a picture of grace in a gown by Amaline Vitale and how she eagerly and elegantly got into the row boat and out onto the water with Jim (and not spill a drop of champagne!) was amazing and so her!

I have to mention the stunning job her talented friend and bridesmaid, Katrina, did on the styling for the wedding. Everything was in beautiful autumnal colors and thoughtful personal touches made sure that those dearly departed family members were present symbolically.

It was so much fun Kate and Jim, and a pleasure to be a part of.
