Frankston and Mornington Peninsula Family Photographer

teenage boy portrait

Three of my four kids are teenagers now, and I remember a time when I was photographing them all the time, wanting to capture them before they grew up, and while they were still little and cute and, I don’t know …. perfect!

As they got a bit older they would become more self conscious about being photographed and while my kids were well used to being in front of a camera, it was getting harder and harder to capture them in a completely natural and unaffected state. The pulling of faces were too quick for me!!

So when the opportunity came for me to photograph my friends’ family, it was something that I was really looking forward to, because like my own,  Jules and Brett’s beautiful children are growing up and their days together as a happy family doing everything together will become fewer as the kids grow more and more independant of their family.

I really wanted them to look back on their photo session and the images we captured and remember a happy time when it was still all of 5 them.

They’re gorgeous kids and a beautiful family, and it was so easy and fun to be with them.

My love of photography grew from wanting to capture as much of my travels and children's childhood as possible, and it is something that I have been loving for most of my life.
