Motherhood Mini Sessions | Melbourne Family Photography
With Mother’s Day looming it’s all about celebrating Mum’s in May, and I’m on a mission to entice as many mums as I can to come out from hiding and to exist in photographs with their children.
It’s something that I’m so passionate about, because I know all about the sacrifices a mother makes for her family.
She puts others before herself, and is so often the one who will take the photo rather than be in it herself.
But in a few years time. She’s going to look back and see that her little one’s have changed.
They can’t fit into that space in her arms any more, and before she knows it, she can’t carry them around any more either.
Too often those times are over with no pictures to remind her of the way it used to be.
Maybe it was the couple of extra kilos that she hoped to lose before getting in some shots, or maybe she just didn’t like the way she looked in photos.
Either way, she hasn’t changed a whole lot, but the kids have, and now that time has gone.
And yet her kids couldn’t give a toss about the extra baby weight. They just want to see what their mum looked like when they were little.
How she played with them, held them and loved them.
How do I know all this?
Well I’m a Mum. And I held the camera. Way too often.
Now is the time to get in some photos with your kids. There is no ‘better’ time.
I want to encourage camera-shy Mums to get in some photos with their kids, and let me help you create some of the best photos you could hope for.
Give it a try and call me for further info on 0407 557 800.
I promise it’ll be fun!
Ah, I’m welling up here Michelle! I never thought I would get any nice photos of the children WITH ME in them! We had such a nice time that evening and now I will have these photos to look back on in years to come, thank you so much! I love them! x
