I practically grew up on the beach. Our house was less than a two minute walk to the water’s edge and we would wander down to the beach like it was our backyard. So when Kirsty and Brendan told me about their family’s boat shed at beautiful Blairgowrie, and their wish to have photographs taken at the place that they feel so connected to, I knew just what they meant.

Mornington Peninsula Family Beach Sessions
I’m so excited for more warm summer nights like this one spent with the cutest family a couple of weeks back. The beach can often be a difficult location to work with, but it’s one of my favourites. Especially later, after a hot day, when the sun is going down, and you start to get that warm glow. There’s just such a calm, nostalgic feeling that just resonates with me.
Stillwater at Crittenden Wedding | Jess + Lee
When Jess and Lee got in touch with me regarding their wedding at Stillwater at Crittenden, they were pretty upfront in letting me know that they were looking for a photographer who takes beautiful pictures, but who is also very easy to deal with, and who wouldn’t put pressure on them. They wanted relaxed, natural shots that captured their love of the day.

You rush over to give him a hug and as you do, you glance over to make sure that your photographer has got…
Wedding at All Smiles, Sorrento | Natasha + Dean
Summer means different things to everyone, but to me it means long hot days down the beach jumping in and out of the water. And Natasha and Dean who were married on a hot summer’s day, chose a stunningly beautiful location for their wedding in All Smiles, which overlooks Sorrento’s ocean beach, reminiscent of the classic Aussie traditions of sun, sand and surf.
Gum Gully Wedding | Sarah + Joe
When the most important person in your life is standing right in front of you. On one of the biggest days of your lives. It’s incredible, when you think about it, that of all the people in the world, you choose each other. And when you hang on to that feeling, and stay in that beautiful moment. And feel it fully. Magic happens.
McCrae Beach Wedding | Merryn + Jesse
From someone who grew up on the beach, and with an affinity for that special place that grounds me still, I completely get the desire for couples wanting to have a beach wedding ceremony. McCrae beach is where Jesse and Merryn have made their home. It’s where they walk their fur children, Herbert and Penelope, and where they have many happy memories. And so it was the perfect location for…
